What is CrossFit? The textbook definition of CrossFit is that CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program designed around fundamental movements executed at a high intensity. Although the previous statement may accurately describe CrossFit, we’d like to expand on that definition. CrossFit is the best fitness program available. As previously mentioned, CrossFit’s workouts are based on fundamental movements. What this means is that the exercises are based on movements that are used in everyday life. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or have never worked out, CrossFit is for you.
Contrary to what many believe, CrossFit is not is a workout program only designed for those in exceptional shape. CrossFit is for everyone, regardless of fitness background or experience. Because we base our workouts on foundational movements, every workout and movement is scalable to your needs. CrossFit is also not like your ordinary “gym”. Unlike most gyms where you come in by yourself and are left to figure out what exercises you should perform, CrossFit workouts are conducted in a classroom setting where coaches help you through every step of the workout. Basically, you receive personal training in a group setting.
